A limited illustration series merging anime character design with contemporary streetwear trends, to be sold on e-commerce platforms. I wanted to stay as true to the likeness of these characters as much as I can. So I focused on implementing easily identifiable clothing and fashion amendments,
The workflow
Sketch out the outline.
Draw elements I want to add with reference to images.
Add any logos, textures, etc.
Render by adding highlights, shadows and depth.
I opted for the final typography as it resembles an east Asian style. However, each letter is only just rotated 90 degrees.
Each character is curated and targeted towards a different demographic of people. Each having their own distinct fashion style.
